Ooh er missus....this was not meant to happen! What would the score have been if Jay's motor had had some power in it?
A thoroughly entertaining meeting served up by a tight knit team who, so far on home soil, look more than a match for anyone.
Cory was on the case from his first race and looked heads on for his first maximum in Rebels colours. Sadly David Howe showed his class by denying our Cory the glory of the full house!
Johno looked a class act all night with Simon and Emil pouring on the points.
Highlights, for me anyway, came from seeing Tom getting right in the mix with some points and Justin showing that he has a lot of genuine potential.
Spare a thought for Jay who suffered a flat motor all night. Nothing that Mr Boycey can't fix I feel sure.
Yes, they did us proud tonight..I'm even tempted to say Rebel Rebel...NO.. maybe I wouldn't go that far!!!
As a finla note, didn't Matty look good in the 2nd half. His Heat 6 blast around the outside of Martin Moller, only for Martin to hold him out, then his cut-back to take him on the inside. Pure magic to watch. Good on yer Matty!
The Giants tied the match with the Vikings at 18 apiece. A thoroughly entertainig 2nd half. More of that please.
