JAY HERNE

A personal message from Jay to all Rebels fans:

"Hey Everybody,
I'm really happy to be at Somerset this year, looking forward to a good year!!!
I think any team has a chance of having a good season. a lot can happen in the off season and we will just have to see how everything goes. I think we should be fine.

Well, I came to England two years ago to work for Craig Boyce, washing his bikes etc and was offered a team place at Weymouth where Boycey lent me a bike to ride. I had a pretty decent season, got 4th in the C.L.R.C. at Rye House. I managed to get a paid 21 point max in my first meeting which was a bit of a suprise as well.

Last year was a bit up and down. started slow but ended well. I got some good experience riding for the Brummies towards the end of the season.....I'm sure some Somerset supporters still might remember! lol.
And with Weymouth we also won the league.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon, Up the Rebels.

Thanks
Jay,"
